Summer is all about Mango Season....
Hi Everyone --
I trust you and family are doing well. Things are getting better and better with covid situations. Take care of yourself and family.
In this blog, I am going to share little about summer KING fruit "Mango". :)
In India, Mango is the king of fruits, so you can get it as soon as the spring season ends and the summer season begins, usually in the first few weeks of April. Mango season starts in summer and continues till the middle of the monsoon.
Mango is one of a great summer fruits in India, as it helps the body fight the heat and prevents heat strokes in summer.
During summer in south India, we get many fruits. i.e. Cashew Apples, Palm Fruits (Ice Apple), Jack Fruits. Jamuns, Tamarind, Manila Tamarind etc. Indian summers are incomplete without mango. It is undoubtedly the king of fruits in the Indian subcontinent.
Mango Trees:
Mango tree gives very good shade in summer. It's thick and lush green leaf protects us from direct sun light in summer...
Sit under one big mango tree, and you will "feel" the difference. Trust me, it is worth trying out. :)
I also planted another 10 mango trees in my farm. Now a days, small plant is also becoming costlier. One small mango plant is costing around 350 INR.
OK, everyone... Summer is all about Mangoes here. Along with mango fruit, please find out a mango tree if possible, relax for few minutes under the mango tree, and support more mango trees. :)
Signing off this week... Mac Under the Mango tree...
Catch you all in the next one...
